The Matlab programming language is a proprietary computing language developed by MathWorks for numeric computing. It began its life as a simple interactive matrix calculator developed and provided for free by Cleve Moler. Over time its popularity grew and eventually it was rewritten by Moler and John Little in C and marketed on IBM machines in 1984.
The Matlab development environment has been improved over the years, and the application comes packaged with modelling tools and visualistion capabilities making it an obvious choice for mathematical modelling. We have 10+ years experience using this software package.
Gino Hrkac uses this software package for all his research work, including recent research into the stress and strain present in interstitial grain boundaries within magnetic materials.
Gino Hrkac teaches courses on how to use Matlab effectively at the University of Exeter.
If you would be interested in being taught how to use the package effectively yourself, or you have some data analysis and visualistion which requires Matlab, please get in contact using the link below!
